It's been a fantastic year so far. After the challenging years with the Corona virus, Namibia is back in full swing. Our guides and cars are on the road taking our visitors to all the special places. As a self-drive destination, Namibia is a paradise. Here are some of our 2022 and 2023 guest feedbacks to give you an idea of our service.
NIT was AMAZING. Truly excellent. The company acted very professionally and delivered a fantastic product, from start to finish. They assisted wherever needed, listened to feedback and always communicated in a very helpful and friendly way. Their equipment was absolutely adequate (there were sleeping bags, mattresses, tents for everyone, as well as communal showers and toilets). Food was very good.
Hans, the chief guide, drove our bus and hiked with us, leading the group. Very professional and friendly.
Koos was head of the camp staff. Again, very professional - service was at a very high level and always friendly.

It was wonderful! Fantastic! We enjoyed the trip to the full - the country, the people, the animals and the lodges were enchanting! And everything worked out perfectly! Kalahari Red Dunes Lodge: fantastic! - The staff were friendly, the safari was great, and the rooms/cottages were beautiful. The food was very good and notably, a delicious vegetarian alternative to the meals was prepared especially for our daughter. Ai Aiba Rock Painting Lodge: simply great! - very friendly staff, great safari (we did a safari instead of the walk), great room/cottage. Again, the food was very good and a lovely vegetarian alternative was always prepared for our daughter. Etosha Oberland Lodge: wonderful! - Staff friendly, beautiful room/cottage, very good food with great vegetarian alternatives prepared. Beautiful lodge area with waterholes, which are visited by animals in the evening and beautiful fireplace. Divava Okavango Lodge: mega great! - Friendly staff, beautiful rooms/cottages with a fantastic view of the river, nice boat safari and great game drive safari (Mahango - we also booked this for the morning). Food - both regular and vegetarian - was very good. Namushasha River Lodge: friendly staff (fun dancing and singing after dinner), great boat and game drive safaris, beautiful rooms/cottages with a wonderful view of the river. The buffet dinner offered no veggie alternative from the buffet, but the chef especially made Jael something extra. Beautiful lodge area - great atmosphere, everything open plan and with a lovely fireplace. Chobe Water Villas: there is nothing to complain about! Everything was fantastic! - from the welcome in Botswana (Kelvin the boat driver and safari guide was so warm), to the welcome at the Water Villas (they all sang for us), to all the staff, who were always very friendly, not artificially friendly and not intrusive, to the chef, who spoilt us so much. The food was fantastic and there was always a tasty alternative for our vegetarian which we appreciated so much along our trip. The three boat safaris with Kelvin were just great. The game drive safari in Botswana was also mega- the rooms/cottages simply gorgeous. What made us really happy, of course, was that you came out to meet with us personally! Just mega nice. The friendly welcome at the airport by Frison was also really nice! Arriving like that is just great after a long flight. WE WILL DEFINITELY BE BACK! The tour of southern Namibia was brilliant - everything went very well. For Ruedi and I, it was the second tour we have done of southern Namibia, but it still held many new surprises. We have been back from our extensive trip since last Sunday (we spent a few days at the seaside after our trip) and had to settle in again this week, which was very difficult for us, as we were still in Africa mode. The trip you put together was well-organised! Thank you very much for that. We would like to share with you - from our point of view - the special highlights: The food at Naankuse Lodge was excellent and the accommodation more than generous. Epako Lodge is particularly worth mentioning. Very friendly and competent staff, great atmosphere, good food, very stylish and cosy accommodation and the waterhole below the lodge ensured that many animals could also be observed during dinner. The rangers were excellent and the game drive in the evening with aperitif and sunset on the hill was simply unique. Our daughter became best friends with the semi-wild giraffe, Oskar, and he followed her wherever she went. She wants to visit Epako Lodge again next year. Everything was just perfect here! We also felt very well looked after at Onduli Ridge Lodge. It is very personally run, which we really appreciated. The programme was superbly put together and we were able to see a lot and gather many special impressions (including the desert elephants). The visit to the National Museum was also a great introduction for our daughter to what life in Damaraland is and was like. Etosha Oberland Lodge was very exclusive and the villas were very nice and very large. We have fond memories of Wildacker Guestfarm. The accommodation is very nice and the owners were very friendly and welcoming. We really enjoyed sitting at the same table as the family and experiencing daily life with the daughters, which was also a great experience for our daughter. The Gondwana Resort Lodges - Hakusembe and Divava - were also beautiful. As far as the wildlife is concerned, we were impressed by the Okavango and especially the Chobe National Park and we saw a lot of animals and very few tourists. We also have very fond memories of the Zovu Elephant Lodge. In particular, the warmth of Peter and Esther and the boat safari were unique. The personal insight into the village was also great, where we were even allowed to visit the houses and gardens of the locals. A real experience. We were delighted with Zimbabwe and Victoria Falls. Ilala Lodge was outstanding! We could have stayed here even longer. We used the short stay to go see the Victoria Falls and then finished off our outing with afternoon tea on the terrace with a view of the Falls at the Old Victoria Hotel. Once again, we would like to thank you very much for the professional organisation and for the super and varied programme. We have arrived home again and I would like to send you a short travel report. So first of all: It was the dreamlike photo trip that we had hoped for. The organization and bookings were excellent and there were no difficulties or even the slightest problem anywhere. (We did not expect anything else either) With two exceptions, the lodges were all great and can be recommended. Outstanding was Nkasa Tented Lodge.. Unfortunately, the two state NWR lodges in Popa Falls and Okaukuejo were really bad. In the next few weeks we will start sorting the 80,000 photos and when we are ready we will of course send you some.
But again, thank you very much for your work in planning this trip (it was a bit nerve-wracking after all) and be sure we will bother you again. Tina and Thomas June 2022
We are back in Switzerland and made it just in time before the chaos at European airports. We had already given Sabine our verbal feedback on the day of departure to La Réunion. We look back on extremely eventful and exciting days. Of course, our special thanks go to Richard, who, with his calmness, his reliability and his great knowledge, gave us security from the first moment and showed and explained to us the many big, sometimes also very small, wonders of the fascinating landscapes. If there was no suitable clothing, or even a blocked road, Richard always knew a remedy.
We also appreciated the comfort and cleanliness of the lodges chosen. We certainly have you to thank for that. We eagerly awaited our new domicile after each stage of the journey. Each time we were pleasantly surprised. Also as far as the kitchen is concerned. I would like to add one drop of bitterness. In the beautiful lodge in Klein Aus Vista, we were disturbed by the many birds in the breakfast room. At the buffet they landed on all pots and plates and picked everything.
The itinerary was very well chosen and we found it comfortable to stay in one place for two days at a time. That calmed the trip down a lot and we were able to process the many impressions better. In this way, we were also able to establish a little more contact with the friendly people on site, be it the lodge operators or the local employees.

Yes, we have arrived back safely in Switzerland. Our thoughts are still in Namibia and Botswana with the many, many beautiful animal encounters that Klaus gave us this time. No animal that we wanted to see was missing. Be it lions, cheetahs, elephants, buffaloes, rhinos, crocodiles, warthogs, zebras, birds of all kinds. He accompanied us perfectly again and, should we plan another trip, we would insist on him as our guide again. His expertise is immense. But he also grew on us as a person. With his calm, modesty and calm, we always felt we were in good hands and also understood each other brilliantly. Unfortunately, the end of the trip was a bit clouded with the two broken panes. His early departure as a result of the vehicle transfer to Zambia was also a pity. But the fact that Klaus discovered tracks of a leopard and finally led us to a female leopard comforts us a bit. We ate excellently in all the lodges, some of which we chose ourselves. Also with the service and the cleanliness there was nothing to complain about. We would book any lodge again and can recommend them all. We would also like to thank you, dear Gaby, for your preparation and efforts. Everything was well organized and worked perfectly. We are absolutely convinced of Individual Travel Namibia and can and will only recommend it to everyone. Our best regards to Andrew and the team. First of all, thank you very much! You organized everything perfectly, the dates and the quality were right. My wife and I thoroughly enjoyed the holiday and returned home with many great memories. The following comments in no way detract from this overall assessment. We especially fell in love with Botswana. The country is just great. The car (Toyota Hilux) was very good and worked perfectly. But four years ago we had a Toyota Fortuner and we didn't have to regularly dust the suitcases, which unfortunately was necessary with the Rhinobox. We really liked Oberland, Wildacker and Shametu. We can recommend it without reservation. Our absolute highlights: Oberland Lodge, Shametu and surrounding national parks, Chobe NP, Magkadigkadi! Thank you again and we wish you continued success. We raved about Stephan and Felicitas so much that they are very excited about their trip and are very happy.

What have we not seen, experienced and learned. Our time in Namibia remains unforgettable. Namibia left an enormous impression: the country, the nature, the people, the cultures, the wildlife. We immersed ourselves in a new, previously unknown world. Although we both have already had "Africa" experiences, the trip through Namibia has shown and revealed something new. Namibia has also stimulated us to long discussions, has made us think, has also led to our European life once again rethink. Wentzel made a significant contribution to this great experience. He brought us closer to the country and its people with his knowledge, he was a fantastic guide and chauffeur. His broad knowledge of flora and fauna surprised and convinced us again and again. His explanations and stories revealed his love for the country; he pointed out the little things and the great things to us. He was considerate and attentive. Nice that we got to travel with him. A big thank you to you, Ms. Heinrich: it was your great planning of this trip that made all of this possible. The whole preparation of the trip, your always prompt reaction, that impressed us beforehand. The tour was great, the duration of the stays at the different places was balanced, and your choice of lodges was breathtaking, simple just sensational: what highlights! Only one drop of bitterness: the trip was over far too quickly!

Since it is important for you to make complaints as quickly as possible, I preferred the report... ;-) We also enjoyed this trip very much, Beate was again very helpful and supported us in all matters. This time too we were able to benefit from your great knowledge. Judith and I were able to approach this trip much more relaxed, on the one hand because all the Covid tests were no longer necessary and on the other hand because we already knew what to expect in terms of landscape and animals as well driving on the gravel roads. Thanks to the vehicle with a lifting roof, it was again possible to take photos that would not have been possible through the window, since a better position and a clear overview brought a lot. Thank you for letting us use this vehicle at no extra charge!

First, however, we would like to emphasize that the theft in Zuvulodge, albeit unpleasant, had no impact on the positive experience of the whole trip or the stay at the lodge itself. Peter and Esther put a lot of energy into the clarification, the perpetrator has already been identified and part of the stolen money has been secured. What we really liked about the trip: The change in accommodation between ⹂adventurous - tents” and relax in a comfortable lodge. We have always used the optional offers and they were an enrichment (e.g. Dorn Hügel Farm Tour or San Living Museum) The length of the routes was well measured, the trip in the Landcruiser especially for Children very comfortable (windows are deeper for the children than on a more modern car and they can see out better) With everyone!!!! We were very satisfied with the accommodation in terms of the welcome, hospitality, hospitality, cleanliness and accommodation. It was very attentive that we were greeted by Andrew in Windhoek at the beginning of our trip. So we had enough time. We also thought it was great that the excursions were already booked, so we didn't have to worry about anything and were able to enjoy the trip to the fullest. The travel program was very detailed with many interesting tips and all information was correct 1:1! We also found the personal contact with Franzpeter and you super friendly - it's great when you have a local tour operator who knows the country like the back of his hand!
