Franz-Peter, originally from Switzerland, explored Namibia for many years while working on contract here. Over a period of time friends, relatives and other people experienced trips with him and he was eventually involved in booking and arranging tours all over Namibia, even though he did not always go along.Due to the popularity of these tours and word of mouth, Namibia Individual Travel was established and has now become a small Tour Operator, arranging a variety of guided and Self Drive tours throughout Namibia for groups of 2-14 people, although we can also take bigger groups of people.

The organizing together with guided tours became too much to handle and subsequently Andrew was called in to assist with guiding and general running of the tour office. Andrew, originally in the computer business, decided to escape the concrete jungle and head into the great outdoors, on a permanent basis, a dream he had been nurturing for some time. Andrew is a qualified Tour Guide with the Namibian tourism board.

Even though we have various fixed itineraries, our tours will be designed to your exact requirements. You may be guided or go on a self-drive tour; you may combine a camping tour with a Lodge or self-drive tour. We also arrange and guide cycling and hiking/walking tours.
